Project Overview
The Nohomin Creek Wildfire, which started in late July 2022 near Lytton First Nation, caused the loss of multiple homes on the remote west side of the Fraser River. Fort Modular had the honour of designing, manufacturing, delivering, and installing temporary homes alongside LFN (Lytton First Nation) and Coldstream Helicopters.
Air craning the modules across the River was a huge milestone for the project, and something all parties had been looking forward to. A recent site visit provided the opportunity to see the homes occupied by Nation members and what it meant to them to be back on their homesteads. This was such an amazing project to be a part of.
